What are the greatest challenges to women's and young people's health and rights?

One of the greatest challenges to youth health and rights is ignorance. Youth are not aware of their rights, and are therefore unable to act upon them. Discrimination is another challenge to youth, whose opinions are not respected.  This further silences youth by causing low self-esteem.

What actions are you taking to make the world safer and healthier for women and young people?

I am currently involved in HIV/AIDS awareness campaigns that target adolescents in particular.  I also work with an organization, Center for Conflict Resolution, which works to equip women, children, and others in the local community with skills for conflict resolution.

What are your dreams for yourself and for the world's youth?

My dream is that all young people live in an environment that is free from all forms of human rights abuses. I believe that this is achievable if everyone could be sensitized to their rights and empowered to make decisions that better their lives and free them from oppression.
