What are the greatest challenges to youth health and rights?

Women and children are citizens in any given community, yet they are subject to being subservient to men and are usually grossly ignored health-wise and otherwise.  Women around me are forced into sex and keeping unwanted pregnancies which result, and are often denied access to reproductive health in general. This invariably results in massive rates of mortality from illegal abortions and maternal mortality. There is also a high incidence of HIV from cases of females forced to have unwanted sex.

How are you making the world safer and healthier for youth?

I work at a nongovernmental organization known as the Action Group on Adolescent Health (AGAH).  We focus on the gross health hazards faced by adolescents -  particularly sexual hazards faced by females.

What are your dreams for yourself and for the world's youth?

I dream of a time when everyone is considered equal - a time when women are treated like the princesses they are.
