Established in the fall of 2007 by seven New York City-based IWHC Board members, the Leadership Council provides access to experts in the fields of human rights, global health, foreign policy, and international development. Leadership Council members contribute $1,500, $2,500, $5,000, or $10,000 annually.

The Leadership Council hosts four luncheons annually that provide exclusive access to experts on women’s health and rights issues.  These luncheons are attended by people who are, for example, members of the Council on Foreign Relations, and senior professionals in the corporate, financial and philanthropic worlds. They stay abreast of national and international politics, and have a particular interest in girls and women in Africa, Asia, and Latin America.

As a Leadership Council member, you will enjoy:

•    special invitations to evening receptions, film screenings, book signings, and panel discussions;
