A strong coalition of non-governmental organizations (NGOs) from around the world, including the International Women's Health Coalition, played a key role at the 42nd Annual United Nations Commission on Population and Development. This year’s conference explored the contribution of the Programme of Action of the International Conference on Population and Development to the internationally agreed development goals, including the Millennium Development Goals.
