Conscientizing Male Adolescents (CMA) was founded in 1995 by Nigerian journalist, scholar, and political activist Eddie Madunagu with the intention of raising awareness of gender inequalities among adolescent males in Nigeria. This case study examines how CMA has developed in response to the various institutional challenges it has confronted over the years, and reflects on the lessons learned.
