IWHC has supported Creating Resources for Empowerment in Action (CREA), based in Delhi, since 2005. Across its activities, CREA works to break taboos and build leadership by convening academics, activists, and practitioners to discuss issues of women's sexual health and rights. As Neha Sood, CREA Program Coordinator explains, "A core belief at CREA is that women can develop their own solutions to difficult situations, but it is first necessary to develop their leadership capacities." 

• The renowned Sexuality and Rights Institute (SRI) is convened through the New Leaders, New Voices program. The SRI brings together activists and academics from across India, grounding them in a human rights approach to working on sexual and reproductive health in the country and region. A focus going forward will be to reach groups traditionally not part of the women's rights dialogue, including more young women and non-English speakers. In November 2006, CREA held its first Human Rights Institute in Hindi.

• Through the Expanding Discourses program, in June 2006, CREA produced the first-ever Hindi copy of the journal Reproductive Health Matters (RHM) and has since disseminated more than 2000 copies. They will produce two more issues in the coming years on maternal health and youth health and rights. 
  
  
• The Creative Learning program has held three "India, Pakistan, and Egypt Exchanges," based in India, for young people from the three countries. Two outcomes of these exchanges, initiated by the participants themselves, have been internships with Indian organizations for young people from Egypt and Palestine, and new trainings conducted in Egypt.
  
  
• The Public Education and Advocacy program has spearheaded efforts to raise awareness of India's new domestic violence law through workshops for a range of constituents critical to its effective implementation, including members of the Delhi Police Department.
