IWHC's New Leadership Council engages a new generation of leaders, activists, and donors in women's health and rights. New Leadership Council members contribute $250 or more annually to IWHC and are acknowledged in materials. Members receive:

December 1, 2006: World AIDS Day Conference Call/Phone Briefing on corporate responsibility and With Women Worldwide: A Compact to End HIV/AIDS. Featuring Adrienne Germain, President, IWHC and Kate Bourne, Vice President, International Policy & Regional Programs, IWHC.
June 15, 2006: Film screening of "Yesterday," a story of courage, compassion and hope that puts a human face on the HIV/AIDS crisis, HBO Screening Room, New York City. Featured speakers included Adrienne Germain; Kati Marton, Board Chair; and Elizabeth Jennings.
April 6, 2006: Breakfast Briefing, New York City. "Reducing Domestic Violence by Working with Couples on Pleasure," presentation and discussion with Dorothy Aken'Ova, Founder and Director of the International Centre for Reproductive Health and Sexual Rights (INCRESE). INCRESE, one of IWHC's Nigerian colleagues, confronts local and national resistance to sexual and reproductive rights, and the lack of political will to address these issues.
January 5, 2006: New Leadership Council Launch Event, New York City. Cocktails at Agave restaurant followed by the play "In the Continuum." "In the Continuum" portrays the devastating impact of HIV/AIDS on African and African-American women. Featured speakers included Jane Matluck and Kati Marton.
